Nature has music all of its own and David Blonski has captured it in one of its most romantic moments. As the sun sets a spring thunder-shower approaches the Sierra Nevada. Birds sing and crickets chirp in delight as we are greeted by a gentle storm & distant rolling thunder. 60 minute nature recording.
The Sun is setting upon the horizon as the clouds begin to gather. Great billowing masses form as they begin to overshadow the peaceful quiet of a remote valley hidden somewhere in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Warm tropical air now collides against massive immovable mountains as it is driven upward into the colder air mass above it. We sense that the air is charged with electricity and know that, at any moment, the storm will begin. At times such meetings can be awesome in their power and frightening in their intensity, but as the sky darkens with the setting of the sun, we find that tonight is just a gentle reminder of the majesty of Mother Nature. Birds sing and crickets chirp with delight as we are greeted by a gentle summer shower accompanied by distant rolling thunder.
